This month’s exciting news is that my story, Making Lemonade, has been accepted by 2 Elizabeths for their anthology, Love and Romance, that is being released in February 2018. I am looking forward to seeing all the wonderful stories that they have chosen for this anthology. Making Lemonade was fun to write. It originated as a contest piece for the NYC Midnight Flash Fiction Contest in 2016. I got some great feedback from beta readers and the contest judges to revise and polish the piece for this publishing opportunity. When I read about 2 Elizabeths anthology, I had a gut feeling it might be a perfect home for the story. It features a food blogger on the eve of her wedding in Las Vegas, and she has a big surprise in store for her in her relationship. What is it, and how will she handle it?
